Yggdra Chronicle by Bonfire Gathering celebrated Songkran 2024 with a special event for Thai players, “ปีใหม่ไทย ฉ่ำใจไปกับเอริกะ (Thai New Year: A Splashing Celebration with Erica),” taking the Valkyries beyond Midgard to experience Thai culture through a new story, seasonal activities and a limited character.
In the special event story, the Valkyries travel through dimensions into another world, where they explore different aspects of Thai culture for the first time. From joining Songkran water celebrations and visiting temples to trying local dishes such as Pad Thai, the event brings the spirit of the festival into the world of Yggdra Chronicle through its own fantasy storytelling.
One of the highlights of the update is “Erica (Songkran),” a limited seasonal version of Erica dressed for the celebration. The character also features Thai voice acting by Jane–Kunjiranut Intarasin (Janemiiiiiiii), adding a familiar local touch to the Songkran adventure.
Alongside the new story and character, players can explore a special map inspired by Thailand, with seasonal activities and challenges available throughout the Songkran event.
The Songkran event brings together the story of Yggdra Chronicle and elements of Thai culture, giving players a new way to experience the familiar atmosphere of the festival through the adventures of the Valkyries.
Celebrate Thai New Year with the Valkyries, experience the special Songkran story and welcome “Erica (Songkran)” in Yggdra Chronicle on iOS and Android.
