Cat Fantasy by Bonfire Gathering welcomed SEA summer 2025 with a special seasonal update inspired by the water festival, bringing new characters, stories and activities to Catto City for players across Southeast Asia.
The update introduced two new cat-eared combatants, Fon and Tara, inspired by two well-known South East Asian cat breeds. Fon takes inspiration from the Korat cat, while Tara is based on the Siamese cat, bringing elements of their distinctive appearances and personalities into the world of Cat Fantasy.
Alongside the new characters, the game launched the special story event “Splish-Splash Revelry”, running from 28 March to 23 April 2025. Inspired by the spirit of SEA summer, the event invited Inspectors to take part in a water festival across Catto City through story stages, challenges and special battle content, with event rewards available throughout the celebration.
The update also came with a playful surprise from Oat–Pramote Pathan, CEO of Bonfire Gathering, who made a special in-game appearance as one of the event bosses under the name “Chubby Cat”, giving players an unexpected challenge to discover during the festival.
The Water Festival update brought seasonal culture into the world of Cat Fantasy through its characters, story and gameplay, creating a festive experience that players across the region could enjoy together in Catto City.
Join the water festival, meet Fon and Tara, and take on Chubby Cat in Cat Fantasy by Bonfire Gathering, available on Android, iOS and PC.
