About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of both in-house products and external client solutions. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performance systems across gaming platforms, commercial applications, and enterprise-level software. You will play a key part in shaping technical architecture, ensuring smooth integration between services, and delivering high-quality features that meet business and user needs. Your technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and commitment to quality will be instrumental in supporting our growing digital ecosystem across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud environments on Tencent Cloud or equivalent platforms.
  • Design, deploy, and configure scalable cloud environments on Tencent Cloud (utilizing CVM, VPC, CBS, CDB, TKE, etc.) for external clients and in-house products.
  • Lead cloud migration projects, assisting clients in transitioning from on-premise environments or other cloud providers (AWS, GCP) to Tencent Cloud.
  • Monitor cloud resource usage and optimize system performance.

DevOps & Automation

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple application types (web, backend, game services, enterprise systems).
  • Automate deployment workflows, environment provisioning, and routine operational tasks.
  • Implement configuration management using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent.
  • Ensure consistent, repeatable builds and deployment processes.

System Reliability & Monitoring

  • Implement comprehensive, full-stack observability solutions using Tencent Cloud Monitor, Cloud Log Service (CLS), and equivalent services.
  • Manage alerting, logging, and performance dashboards for production systems.
  • Support incident response and root-cause analysis to improve long-term system reliability.

Security & Compliance

  • Enforce secure infrastructure and deployment practices.
  • Manage IAM roles, role-based access control, secrets management, and network security policies.
  • Support compliance audits and security reviews for internal and client systems.

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with backend, frontend, QA, and project managers to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Collaborate with external vendors or clients when cloud or deployment requirements arise.
  • Provide technical assistance to engineering teams on environment, tooling, and deployment issues.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

  • Maintain clear documentation for cloud architecture, DevOps workflows, infrastructure setup, and runbooks.
  • Contribute to internal best practices and mentor team members on DevOps/cloud concepts.

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or DevOps roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Tencent Cloud, AWS or GCP cloud services (compute, networking, storage, IAM, managed DBs).
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Experience with monitoring/logging platforms (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Familiarity with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus).
  • Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
  • Understanding of secure cloud and network practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good to have

  • Tencent Cloud Certifications (TCA, TCP, or TCE in Cloud Practitioner, SysOps, or Architect tracks) are highly advantageous.
  • Experience with Tencent Kubernetes Engine (TKE) or general Kubernetes administration.
  • Experience migrating workloads from AWS, Azure, or GCP to Tencent Cloud.
  • Experience working in a software house, tech consultancy, or multi-project B2B environment.
  • Exposure to game backend infrastructure.

  • 10:00 AM - 7.00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hybrid)
